Devon Brownlee is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Dietitian in the state of Vermont. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics, Nutrition & Food Science from the University of Vermont in 2015. After graduating, Devon moved to Boston, Massachusetts to complete her Master of Science in Nutrition & Health Promotion from Simmons University in 2016. Following her Dietetic Internship with Lenoir-Rhyne University, she gained further experience within Medical Nutrition Therapy as a clinical Dietitian. She helps her clients to expand their definition of health, incorporating factors of mental wellness along with physical health and emotional well-being.
Devon’s counseling aims to better understand our food choices maintaining an ‘all foods fit’ mentality with a heightened focus on intuitive, joyful eating. She specializes in the treatment of disordered eating as well as food and body image-related concerns integrating a collaborative, therapeutic approach to nutrition counseling. She works closely with family members and frequently participates in team meetings as part of our multidisciplinary approach at The Adams Center. Devon strives to create consistency of care in helping her clients achieve recovery focused goals.
Devon believes taking the confusion out of nutrition and focusing on what helps us feel our best while challenging societal beliefs about body size and health are integral to healing one’s relationship with food and body. She offers a safe space for support and guidance to ultimately provide her clients with the necessary tools to become their own food and body experts.
